Carl Faulkner is Head of Digital & AI Strategy for Europe and Global Portfolio Solutions Lead at Liberty Mutual, bringing more than 20 years’ experience driving digital transformation across insurance and banking. He leads enterprise AI strategy and delivery across multiple European markets, accountable for digital capability, P&L and programs targeting significant productivity gains. Previously Carl served as Head of Digital and Innovation for International Retail Banking at BNP Paribas, where he led fintech partnerships, corporate venture investments and an international fintech lab. His career spans senior digital and distribution roles in Tokyo, Paris and London, delivering paperless instant underwriting systems, next-generation digital products and regional digital COEs. A pragmatic change leader and corporate influencer, Carl builds multidisciplinary teams to scale AI, platform and UX innovations to the market and to embed sustainable transformation. He holds an MA in Psychology from Oxford University
